Hey everyone! I'm pleased to report that the next update to Bastante Bueno Lucha Libre is now available. Prototype V1.2 is in out and inviting everyone to re-enter the squared circle.

Included in the new gameplay update:

• Ringside Gameplay! Walk out of the ring or knock your opponent to the floor. To support wrestling on the floor, new mechanics include:
  • Diving from the top rope to the floor.
  • Performing standing and running planchas.
  • Performing ringside-specific grapples when your opponent has been whipped to the barricade or ring apron.
  • Count outs. Luchadors have until the count of 10 to return to the ring.
• Context Specific Grapples! Luchadors will now perform specific grapple moves against opponents in the following situations:
  • When running at the opponent.
  • When the opponent is running.
  • When the opponent is slumped in the corner.
• Ground Grapples! You can now go for submissions or pins when your opponent is laying on the mat. The exact moves performed will change should you be in the ring vs on the floor.
• Counters! While very early in development, luchadors now have the ability to automatically attempt counters against certain moves. Current implementation includes counters against whips to corners, melee strikes, and certain grapple moves.
• Presentational Updates! A number of cosmetic updates have been made, including:
• The camera now offers additional dynamic views of grapple moves and better frames high flying attacks.
• The lighting & atmosphere have both been overhauled.
• Additional ring textures, changing based on the Player 1 luchador.
• Color commentary (very early stages).
